          St. Mary’s award-winning Take Charge™program is searching for qualified on-call screeners who will be responsible for providing biometric screening and brief health coaching during the Health Risk Assessment process.

          The responsibilities of the Health Risk Screener include performing medical testing/screening at offsite locations by greeting patients, reviewing patient's HRA form, interviewing, performing vital signs and biometric screening, conducting appropriate documentation, instructing patients on test results and comparison to normal ranges, providing basis education and follow up, and alerting medical providers in instances of severe out of range results.

          Qualified candidate will be able to demonstrate knowledge of patient confidentiality as defined by the legal and ethical framework of healthcare and be responsible for working safely in accordance with OSHA Standards and regulations and specific department policies and procedures.
          Candidates must be a graduate of a 2-year associate’s degree program in the sciences or medical field, AND/OR, have 3 years’ experience as a provider of health screening services, working knowledge of office practice and procedures. Must have excellent guest relation and interpersonal skills. Good command of English language. Medical Terminology required.

          Must attend cholestech training and pass the practical assessment upon hire.
